WSESU is committed to increasing sense of belonging and connection for all staff and students, reducing discrimination and bias, and building environments where all youth can reach their full potential. Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) support our school community in being more innovative, productive, and resilient, while benefiting from a wide range of perspectives and experiences. We approach DEI from a broad perspective and recognize the interconnectedness with Trauma-Informed Practices, Social-Emotional Learning, Collaborative Problem Solving and Restorative Practices.
