Federal Grans
Windsor Southeast Supervisory Union receives federal grant funds in the following programs:
Title I - The purpose Title I Part A under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) is to provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps. Title I Part A funds support eligible students identified by schools as failing or most at risk of failing to meet the State’s challenging academic standards.
Title II - In general, Title IIA funds can be used to provide supplemental activities that strengthen the quality and effectiveness of teacher, principals, and other school leaders. The purpose of Title II Part A is to:

Increase student achievement consistent with state standards;

Improve the quality and effectiveness of teachers, principals, and other school leaders;

Increase the number of teachers, principals, and other school leaders who are effective in improving student academic achievement in schools; and
-
Provide low-income and minority students greater access to effective teachers, principals, and other school leaders
Title IV - The purpose of Title IV Part A is to improve students’ academic achievement by increasing the capacity of the States, local educational agencies, schools, and local communities to: •

provide all students with access to a well-rounded education,

improve school conditions for student learning, and
-
promote the effective use of technology in supporting academic achievement and digital literacy of all students
